Hi Guys! I have my new-old lens Summilux 35/1.4 chr/canada

What lens hood attached to my summilux, and can be show me as she looks?

Hello,

You'll find the same hood that fits the 35 & 50mm summicron fits, mine has
1:1.4/35 1:2/35 12504
on the side and a screwed-in skylight filter, that I always end up touching when putting on!

Round, metal vented with squeeze clips on the side, came with it in the original box

hello, my lens is same as your version and I use OLLUX hood, it is rare and even worse to find in good condition. This lens flare easily so i think hood is recommanded. Btw it look exactly like what 12522 look tho, hope it help 🙂

I also got 12504 hood but that's for later version pre-asph 'lux, the only hood that can be use for your early version is OLLUx / 12522 🙂

This site lists mosts of the lens hoods/filter sizes for the Leica lenses

the 12504 should fit your lens - it unscrews in the centre to hold Series VII filters as the lens itself has no thread on the front of the lens to accept any fliters. It fitted mine.

I think they missed one version of pre asph lux. If the lens has a filter thread an after market wide angle lens hood may work.

O my Good! price ollux/12522 ! 400$ ! No! This is half price my Summilux!

Yeah, that is why I suggested trying to find an after market lens hood to fit the filter threads on the lens, if it has any filter threads. Someone more knowledgeable may be able to point you in the right direction for that. The particular lens you have is the rarer of the two pre asph lenses and the hood is rarer too. Good luck in your quest for a solution.
