Lens Hood for Yashica-A?

Hey folks,

I just picked up a very clean, very functional Yashica-A from fellow RFF'er Jack Conrad. First entry into medium format and TLRs! My first roll turned out well, but I do notice a bit of flare in sunnier shots. I've read that hoods of the 32mm push-on sort will work. Should they be square, like this one:

I just don't want the hood to obstruct the viewing lens or show up as vignetting in any frames. Any input is appreciated! Thanks a ton guys.
 
The round hoods are for TLRs with geared focussing (or really any camera with a rotating lens barrel I guess) - so as the hood rotated with the lens it does not cut into the corners of the image. It should not cause any problems on the Yashica A, but I would prefer a square hood because it provides better shading.
