Lens mount screws for Exacta RTL 1000?

I have a a camera here that has a loose (separated) lens mount and I am having difficulty getting the 4 little countersink screws that hold it onto the body.
The camera in question is an Exacta RTL 1000 and the closest I can get to measuring with a micrometer and various eyeglass repair screws is it's M1.4 (I think) but I cannot tell the pitch, since none of them screws in far enough to convince me that it is the correct one.
Does anyone know what size they are in regard to diameter and pitch?
I presume but cannot be sure it is the same as the Pentacon/Practica which is the factory where it was made and who had a M42 version of an almost identical camera with their name on it.
Any help appreciated.

Yes the Pentacon Camera was nearly identical...at least the finders are interchangable...so Praktica Pentacon screws are agood tip.

I would look for a junker body on eBay and pull the screws you need. I recently saw one sell for about $11

I will try to get you a proper answer, but you can probably use standard metric flathead screws of a standard length. You will need to find an old-school hardware store where they understand screw types.

Ah! Yes! The old school seem to be having a bit of difficulty with metric and so small. I keep asking for M1.4 altho I am not 100% sure that's what I need. It certainly was the nearest to all the assorted screws' average diameter.
Another reply pointed out the usual pitch was .3mm for that size screw.
The plate is very thin and it will need countersunk screws. Even if I heve to grind them down.

Found - some screws

Received today 4 x 1.5mm screws from WV that have done the trick! I will now have to check the register and free up the focussing of the lens.
