Folks, I'm looking for a repair shop, preferrably in the US, that can poilsh and re-coat my vintage Canon 25/3.5 LTM lens. The front element is covered with scratches, as if someone tried to clean it with their shirt-tail or something. (I didn't see the scratches until Don Goldberg cleaned the haze out of it.
)
John at FocalPoint can't do it, as his polishing machines won't work on a lens smaller than 3/4 inch in diameter, and the 25/3.5 is much smaller than that. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Ari

The recent video post about how optical lenses are made led to the JML Optical company. They have the facilities to build a lens from the ground up. They might be able to do something for a custom job on a small element.
