Lens pouches: small rf lenses

If you can make me a dark suit in 44S by Sat. I'll take one please. 😀

I'm just a poor slob trying to clean himself up. So far I'm learning how to sew a man's dress shirt that would retail for $300.00. Next semester is the dress pants and then another year of classes to learn how to make a jacket.

I though I was a smart guy, but I never understood how complicated a dress shirt is. In class I am getting spanked badly. Now I am ruined and recognize quality and details. Just think of the stress of total immersion into an episode of "Project Runway" when you are clueless, but somehow I'm ahead in the class.

Now I look for Leica quality in clothes. and learned why they are expensive. Believe it or not good menswear is like Leica: classic and built to last with extreame quality. Over the weekend I bought some new clothes, ever see Oxford style shoes that are laser engraved or a cotten shirt that feels like silk. I am also new to Paul Smith.

Like I said I'm just a regular guy who has no problem wearing underwear with holes in it. My problem is that I'm a tall skinny Asian with narrow shoulders, 5' 10", 38 inch chest 29 inch waist, 155 pounds. Another problem is that I am a 52 year old man trapped in a 25 year old body who perhaps looks and acts 35. In the past, no matter what I wore/bought I looked sloppy because the clothes didn't fit, and because I didn't have the money for the good stuff.

At this point I am being told, "You cleean up good." LOL.

You might have to wait another year and a half for that suit, but it will be worth it. LOL.

OK - sounds interesting

One thing I've found with clothes is that the best quality stuff you can find today, is often not at the stores, but in the thrift shops. Of course you have to get the stuff cleaned and tailored, but total still gives you much better quality.

Also, stuff that used to be good, even if authentic, has pretty much cheapened in materials and quality. For example, a Polo "Blake" shirt looks like a deal for $39 at Costco, but if you compare it with the same shirt at Macy's for $79, the Macy's one is thicker.

Also, names that used to mean things like 150 wool, is now used to reference the ~30% wool in a cheaper suit, that is mostly poly.

Best bargain clothes outside of deals at thrift stores seem to be JC Pennys where you can find a decent 100% cotton solid shirt on sale for $9 (retail $55), they also differentiate their "Stafford" branded products appropriately, for example a Stafford essential, is like a once or twice wearable product, priced accordingly, while the Stafford Advantage is a nice budget product, can be worn multiple times.

Costco's high end Kirkland shirts are good values, but the lower end is poor quality and materials.

When it comes to clothes, I'm much more of a FSU or CV type person than Leica, unless I spot something amazing used or unbelievably discounted (usually weird size or color, that I happen to like). I like function, but still needs to be natural fabrics, I get itchy from polyester.

just arrived, nice pouches

just arrived, nice pouches

very nice, and appropriately sized for most RF sized lens. Thanks again for the tip on these little bags.

I bought some lens pouches off of Ebay from some Chinese vendor. For most M bayonet lenses except for some super wideangles, high-speed standards and 90mm lenses, the smallest size (C1 ) should be sufficient. The pouches are made of very soft fabric and have an even softer inner liner. As far as I can see, the pouches do not shed any lint or fibres.
