Lens relubing

Picked up a nice Canon 35/2.8 that is fine, but rather tight to focus. Where's the best place to take this/send this (at the most reasonable price) to fix this condition? Oh! and what can I expect to pay for this? (It wasn't very expensive to buy it)

Any competent camera repair person should be able to do that. Of the "known entities", Youxin Ye is going to be most economical, and fast to boot.

Youxin is great, but does he work on anything but Leica? I don't know.

I have also had good work done by Ed Wong of Whilton Camera Service (626)796-4037. His shop is in Pasadena, California. I had him service a Canon FD lens for about $45; an Olympus lens cost a few dollars more. The Canon went in with a similar stiff focus, and came back smooth and crystal clear.

Oh, yes. Another great lens repair person is Paul Ebel, of Paul Ebel Lens Services
((651)335-8759. I have used him several times, and he was fast and great.

I'll vouch for Ebel, I haven't used him in quite awhile but he used to do all my large format lenses really inexpensive, quick and good.
