Lens Rental .. Monterey CA area...

Hi Gang!
I'm heading to the CA coast this autumn, and would love to rent a 15mm Heliar for 5 or 6 days. I want to try it before I buy it. A google search turned up nothing. I'll be at Morro Bay, Monterey and Santa Cruz.

Have you tried Camera West in Monterey? They don't rent, as far as I can tell from the website, but maybe they'd help you out. Otherwise it's Keeble & Shuchat in Palo Alto, which is about 1 hour north of SC. But they only have a 35, 50, and 90. Maybe they'd put a Heliar up for rent if you ask, though. They then sell rented stuff as used, so it's sometimes to their advantage. Give them a call - kspphoto.com. Dave or Mary at the rental counter are great folks.
