Are there any places in the USA that repair damaged lenses? I have a 90mm Summicron that apparently someone dropped 40 years ago - it fits onto my film M series cameras and works, but will not go onto my M8.2 camera.
I'm not looking for someone to rebuild the lens with new parts - all I need is someone who can bend/file/whatever the damaged flange so the lens will fit onto the camera.
I knew of a person who could do this 20 years or so ago, but I've long since lost his information.
Thanks for any advice.
I can post a photo of the lens if that would help, but I'm hoping to find a shop that does this kind of work.

Don Goldberg. He's a factory trained Leica tech who has been doing it for decades. He's inundated with work and can be slow, but he is the best.

No one else touches my Leica gear (unless it's a warranty repair)!
