I just purchased a Nikkor-S.C. 50 1.4 lens. It is near mint in every way except the apeture ring is extremely hard to turn. Any suggestions has how to repair, oil, or exercise it?

Take a look at Brian Sweeney's comments in the thread linked above. It sounds like you just need to remove the rear barrell section, give it a clean, and reassemble. An easy procedure.
