The more I see/hear things about Lens Work the more I want to re-subscribe... I think I will... I personally loved the print form when I did subscribe for two years.

Both. Although I rarely get around to running up the Extended DVD on my computer, I keep thinking one day I will, and I think it's important to support one the last, best photography mags out there.

The quality of the images in the printed version is stunning. The DVD version has a significant amount of extra stuff and the on-screen quality (PDF) is pretty good too. I'm tempted to go for both. I was curious to see what others subscribe to.
 
I had the Extended version, but my humble laptop just doesn't keep up.

It's a first-rate publication, but for myself I believe I'll re-subscribe to the print version...until I come into enough to buy a more powerful computer.
 
It was available in the public library, in my previous country of stay. Now, I am considering the PDF version since the overseas shipping cost is way too high.
 
Subscriber to the print version. I shoot only B&W so LensWork become an obvious choice in NA. I have enough looking at the computer to process my scans so the DVD is out of the question.

Used to subscribe to the print version only. Good quality but didn't really care for the subject matter of the images.
 
Bought it on the news stand. Can't afford to subscribe, so I just live with missing it.
 
Productionwise it is outstanding. Images could not be reproduced better however most of the photographers, at least in the last year, which I have been ordering the magazine, are Ansel Adam acolytes. It is not that I am against Ansel Adams as he is a wonderful photographer but he is only one the many wonderful photographers. I wish that Lenswork would reproduce works in a different style...maybe, something more cutting edge circa 1950 or newer. Fortunately, I can view images on this website that are modern...cutting edge.
 
I'm a former subscriber. I had both the print magazine and the extended DVD. PDF files are utilized on the extended DVD's. They did not work particularly well on my Mac and Linux machines even with Adobe Reader. Often, I had to seek out the images, videos and sound clips by browsing through the DVD's folder structure. The quality of the images on the DVD was pretty bad. The only thing I liked about the extended DVD's were the video interviews with photographers.

The print magazine is nicely printed but there were a number of things that turned me off. One of the last issues I received featured some hideous B&W HDR images. Another article had a link directing me to a photographer's website and when I followed it, I found that all the images featured in the magazine were actually colour images. This bothered me somewhat. However, I think that what really caused me to end my subscription was that I found it very repetitive after a while, both the photos and the articles.

I just pick it up now and then at the bookstore, but I listen to Brooks' podcasts as often as he produces them. He is very entertaining and has a lot of good advice to share.
 
Like Peter I subscribed for a time to the print version only but wasn't interested in the imagery. Stunning reproductions without equal, though they do sometimes seem a little over-processed.
 
Like others here, I have subscribed and not renewed. The publication itself is first class and Brooks Jensen is a wonderful editor. It does seem repetitive and covers a narrow style or aesthetic. Less landscape photography and more street photography please.

Just a reminder, it is now only available by subscription. Highly recommended.
 
Now, if they only had an iPad App.

I am a print subscriber, but this mag would look great on a tablet.
 
I did subscribed a couple of years ago. I stopped because I found it a bit pricy...
I'm sure I will subscribe again one day, it is the best b&w photo magazine IMO.

By the way, I do recomend Brooks Jensen podcast for the ones who don't know it, very good reflexions about photography.
