Let’s clean up

I enjoy hunting the Classifieds. But my browsing pleasure is affected by the growing legion of “sold” ads that linger forever forgotten like some rotting corpses of “GASsed” treasures upon which a potential buyer must trip over to get to the good (not-yet-sold) stuff. Try it – do a search for “sold” in the Classifieds. You will find pages and pages of old ads for gear that sold long ago. Are we that lazy?

So please, let’s all do the right thing and clean up. All it takes is a mouse click to convert your “sold” ad to one that is clearly labeled as SOLD in bold red letters making it easy to ignore in a search. Your ad will still be there for anyone to find but now it will be stashed safely out of the way.

Where's my ad? I just indicated it as SOLD, but I would like it to remain visible for the remainder of the 15 days that I bought it for to be online. I would like visitors to be able to appreciate the stuff I sell and for buyers to use as a reference. I see other ads labeled as SOLD, which were apparently not indicated as SOLD in the system and therefore aren't removed.
