So... I got about under a dozen TMAX 3200 that expires in half a year and need inspiration - let's see some high speed BW shots

Here is a couple. I was recently experimenting with a variety of film/development combos. Both of these are HP5+ pushed to 1600 in Rodinal 1:50 for 24 minutes at 20ºC.

Thanks
I've been running around at night and learning that high speed doesn't solve crappy lighting

Someone recently gave me a few dozen Tmax3200 from their freezer but I did not try yet. It's pre-2000 stuff (Exp '98 rings a bell). Probably pretty fogged?? I usually just push HP5 or Tmax-2 400.
Here are a couple of HP5 at 1600 in tmax Dev 1:4. Both Hexar AF.

Cool example of how the perception of grain is dependent on texture of the subject, focus/out of focus etc. If you just look at the striped part of the jacket, you'd not think of grain.
Sharply dressed, by the way!

In other words... who says moire is only for digital? Film can suffer as well
As fun as that jacket is to wear it is a very cheap piece of gear !
It also has the same phycadelic effect on the eyes in person.
Cheers!

Playing whist in the back room of the Apopka Mens Club which actually is in South Apopka, not Apopka and obviously not limited to men. The photo was made about 8 years ago and this part of the building has fallen down but I regularly see 5 of the 6 people shown here.
Film was 120 Delta 3200. A 10 x 12.5 print of this is exhibited beside other prints made from 120 Neopan 400 negs and does not look any different.

I really dig that photo, very good! Maybe a large darkroom print would be great!?
