I could not find an IR thread, so I thought I would start one. Lets see your ir shots film or digital.

To start it off here are some ir shots from my recently acquired Olympus epl1 converted to 715nm ir.

Anyway here is a pair - original and B&W conversion using FX Pro 2.

Because the IR conversion is for 715nm conversions, anything that has any blue in it will come thru.

This one was converted to B&W using Silver FX Pro 2

I did this years ago in Glacier Montana with a Nikon D1x and 87c filter. A couple of years ago I had a Nikon D3100 converted to 850nm. Works great.

IR is fun, but eventually, there is a sameness to many of my shots. I guess I should point the camera somewhere there is no foliage.

Yeah.. I agree.. But I do find that a converted camera is much more enjoyable to use then a camera that is using a ir filter which is not getting all the light because that ir light needs to fight is way thru the built in low pass filter next to the sensor.

It is a nice change of pace to shoot ir occasionally. I was thinking that on vacation, when u can't control the weather and u are tied of shooting those gloomy overcast shots, then an ir shot converted to b&w could be the answer.
