I almost never use snap focus for this reason - it is very hard to know exactly how fast a press will switch modes.
There's an easy fix to this - just turn off "Full Press Snap" in the shooting menu :bang:

Superb & dreadful triptych, Tony. How many exposures? And are you using one of those old windup tin toys as a robot model?

rObert its a old tin robot toy, 5 exposures on the middle photo and 3 on the end one. The story is true gOOgle it. I am a bit freaked out about all the robot will eventually kill off mankind stories lately.
Are they using rObOts yet in the new Leica factory

^ At least batman hasn't lost his marbles. (Are those pottery-fired marbles btw?) Very effective/affective processing to surround him with light. Batman blown out from behind.

Mostly I shot film at the county fair this year, but when it was gone I pulled out the GR. Like blazing away with a derringer when the rocket launcher, machine gun, rifle et al have run out of ammunition. Wait, that's a terrible analogy for a pacifist...
Here's a little sequence from the barrel racing at what's called the Young Guns area, but is really free child care (or 'Give your parents a break from following your ticket trail around the midway'). Everyone participated with as little irony as possible, thanks to the winning personality of the MC (3rd image below).

And a pair of rodeo bucks at lunch (probably 4H boys taking a break from their animals)

rhl-oregon some nice shots. I go by the principle that the best camera is the one your carrying and the GR is easy to carry.
