On my way back home, after work.
Glad I had my GR in my pocket.

I debated which cameras to bring to Puerto Vallarta. Usually the GR is the Fun One of two or three for travel. But I decided to bring an RX1 and Leica T/CV 35/1.4, both with viewfinders, and stcik to the 35-50 range. The Fun Camera this trip is a Rollei S with Fuji 200.
But as you will note, I'm visiting the GR thread now that it's dark and the ipad shows off the brilliance of the work here, as I sit with the geckos and philodendrons up the steep steep hill over town....

Robert, you've got some pretty nice gear choices. All small but potent.
Below, waiting for the movie to begin.

What a delightful break from the unusually persistent ice and snow and slush of western Oregon, James.
I even have to tilt my head to match hers when I look at the image. Of course then I feel as though she actually sees me. Which makes a persuasive portrait. If I walked around with a bouquet of cotton candy, though, people would avert their eyes rather than think I looked adorable. --Sorry, wrong turn. How lucky she is to have such an adoring portraitist with high standards.

Hi Robert it is just as cold and snowy and slushy here in Southern OntarioNas in Oregon. They are calling for more snow over night and my back is still a little tweaked from shovelling the last one.
I think that is best compliment I have ever received about my photography. Thank you for you kind words, they mean a lot.
How about a portrait session the next time you are in Canada? I'll bring the cotton candy....
