First few shots from my recently purchased GR2
First few shots from my recently purchased GR2
Thanks for all the great information from the RFF members. I found some very valuable information, especially on the setting part. This camera is truly design for street photographers, the depth of the menu and custom setting are great.
I took this camera out to downtown Tampa the day I received it, I had to charged the batteries on my drive there, that shows how much I want to shoot with it. I stupidly used the high contrast B&W filter, while it might be great for something, but defiantly killed lots of detail and hard for pose processing. Luckily I also shoot raw
🙂.
I recorded a POV video during the shooting, I want to warn you that video is very shaky... because I am used to record POV with my M240, which is much heavier which help stabilized the video. It is really amazing Ricoh is able to fit this great lens and APSC sensor in this little thing.

A couple of questions for all you experienced GR shooters:
1. Do you guys use the filters at all?
2. Which meter setting do you recommend for street photography?
3. When I turn the High Dynamic Range setting on, the ISO setting become useless(set at 100 will jump to 400, Auto ISO will not follow setting) is that normal?
again, thank you all!
