There are lots of iPhone light meters.

Personally, I use the Lumu light meter which comes with an app (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1160315-REG/lumu_lumu_black_light_meter_for_ios.html).

Without the hardware plugged into the phone, the app uses the camera and is pretty accurate. With the hardware plugged in, the iPhone becomes my most accurate and sensitive light-meter. And I've tried a lot.

IIRC (If I Recall Correctly) this started life as a kickstarter project. When I get off my lazy butt and start down the MF/LF path, combined with your recommendation and the fact that my phone will be with me everywhere, I will have to add it to the list.

Thanks for the feedback on something that isn't "*u*k" (read insert the letter of your choice for the * (e.g. s, c, j, n).

Having been a developer many time over the past 40 years or so, IMHO, a high percentage yes, but also the user is responsible for a bit too.

I agree with you. When it is off by 5 stops, the user is responsible to trash that junky app.
