I've got a Pantax Digital Spotmeter, functions perfectly, however I've notices a loose baffle that's visible when looking through the eyepiece. If I tilt the meter backwards is pivots back into position and is fine. It looks as though if I could remove the lens, a couple drops of super glue would fix it. Problem is the only way I can see to remove it is by removing the tinyest Phillips screw. I've tried every screwdriver I could find and this thing won't budge.
Any help appreciated.

Don't use super glue. It can outgas and contaminate optics. Not familiar with the meter involved. So can only offer general suggestions. If it is safe to do so you could try applying some heat with a soldering iron tip. Only if there are no vulnerable materials such as plastic adjacent, of course. A miniscule trace of WD40 perhaps (not recommended for interior use, but loosening stuck threads is one of the things it is good for, this does not mean spraying a nozzle on the screw!).

If you can do so using a small set of vice grips on the head may work. Naturally this will deface the fastener: you will want to arrange a replacement.

If the piece involved can be lifted straight off, you could perhaps dremel the head off the screw. Usually the tension on the screw will be produced by the head against the threaded surface. Remove the head and the remainder may readily unscrew after removal of the part it retains.

Failing this if it has to come out I'd consider drilling it in situ. But this requires a decent drill and a steady hand, the idea is to drill through the screw but to leave some thread for a replacement to grip. Prior consideration should be given to the effects of any swarf that may enter the interior space adjacent the threads.

Lastly, does it have to come out? If it ain't broke, don't fix it. You did say it still functions perfectly...
Cheers
