Leica LTM lighte meter for my IIIF

Leica M39 screw mount bodies/lenses
Used Gossen Luna Pros (SBC or F models, as they use 9v batteries). $60-$80 on ebay.

Digisix if you wanted a little, new model. Has an accessory shoe adapter for a heightened clash-of-era effect.

I would like to have have a functional Leica meter for my Barnacks, but so far have not found one in working order.thinks it's a copy of the Gossen Luna-Pilot.

Hi, For what it's worth, I have a 1930's Leicameter and got a new cell made for it and now use it with the Model II. Only problem is the new cell is far more efficient and so the readings have to be adjusted. But I'm experimenting with some ND filters...

Hi, excellent thread. I'm metering from a DSLR for exposures on my 80 Year Old Leica. Have had some success with 'guestimates' which is pleasing. I am going for a small hand held meter-thanks for the comments on the sekonic range....very useful. I can't say that I appreciate the aesthetics of the shoe mounted meters....too ugly for my eyes!
I am also thinking about an exposure calculator. Does anyone have any experience of these?
If anyone knows anything of the Leica 1A, I would appreciate it if they have a look at my thread' Leica 1A query'.
Love this forum.

Vivitar had a small meter that slid into the accessory shoe. I just sold one last week.
