lightroom 3 and PS5

I find that I can print great prints in ps5, but when I save the "file" from which I got the great print, open it in lightroom, and then print with the same settings to the extent possoble, I do not get the same quality. Any suggestions? Thanks, HankR

A couple of questions: Are the color spaces the same - AdobeRGB vs ProPhoto? Which system is managing the color - LR, the printer, or both? (Both is bad, but you may be using both without knowing it.)

I had this issue. In my case, after some investigation, I discovered Lightroom was sending the printer data in ProPhoto RGB format, and my printer driver didn't do a good job with it. For me, the solution was to splash out on QImage, and I don't use Lightroom to print any more.
