Lr 3 beta 2 was released a few days ago and Tom Hogarty on Lightroom Journal posted a few early resources.
Go to his post here, I especially like the first video by Julieanne Kost:
My impressions are that beta 2 is incredibly stable and works almost flawlessly (for me, that is). It is a lot faster at previewing images, which means I will most likely ditch Aperture 3 in favor of Lr 3.
The most interesting new feature in this release is how the curve adjustment works, a lot more like Photoshop (has points now). Also, for those using video you can import that now, too, and if you've been using beta 1 without fully working noise reduction that has been "fixed" as well.
