I photographed this old white farmhouse at the very end of the day, with the moon rising above it. The sun had just set, and the light was fading quickly.
The flowers are tiger lilies, which are common in Indiana's front yards. My mother and grandmother both have had them growing in their yards as long as I can remember. They're often seen growing wild along the roads as well.
This house was on County Road 900N, just east of Roanoke in Huntington County, Indiana. I photographed it on August 5, 2014. It was demolished in 2016.
