Linhof 4x5 serial number

I'm looking at a Linhof camera with 2 lenses at a local camera store in Regina SK. They tell me it is a Tech IV, but I'm trying to make sure. Is there any way to tell the difference between a Tech IV and a Tech III?

The kit also has two tripods, some 4x5 holders, a 120 roll back and some misc filters as stuff. Any adivice?

I don't know excactly but try and ask on www.largeformatphotography.info/forum There is a chap there that will definately be able to tell you from the serial number and a lot that can tell from a photo.

You should be able to tell the difference from the pictures on this page here:

The Zeiss Planar and Biogon lenses are highly rated and usually sell for quite a bit on their own, so if the price is good and everything else works on it okay it sounds a good deal.

Sounds like a good kit if the price is right. Is the rangefinder camed for the lenses included?
