This website was started by Pedro Meyer, who was one of the first photographers to embrace the digital processes. One of his most renowned books is called "Truths and Fictions, a journey of documentary photography to digital."
He also has several articles published, one of the articles is about the new digital frontier and copyright. He took a small section of HCB's photograph, of a girl carrying a mirror or picture. Pedro took the girl and the object she was carrying and inserted it in his photograph, creating an entirely new photograph and context of the girl and her location. He also stated that this was legal because he used such a small portion of the image, however, it was the most important detail of the image. I cannot find the article or the image, but if I come across it, I will repost it.
