Link to "My Gallery" at end of Posts?

Hi... have been away for a bit.

Since our rff site has been overhauled, the yellow link, My Gallery, at the end of posts... seems to be showing the html symbols... rather than the link that used to work. 😡

Look back through the threads about editing the signature line. There have been a couple of them in the last week.

Look at your signature in the signature editor.

You'll see the URL twice.

First one is the real URL, the address. Do not change anything here.

Second one is the label, what people see. You can change this to 'My Gallery' or whatever you like.

You have to use the link icon and enter the correct string of code. The threads that I mentioned gave examples. I am not a programmer and can't write it for you. I worked with the examples and found the correct format by trial and error. Be careful to keep the []s symetrical.

yes I'd like to figure that out. Is there a thread link we can go to. I've searched for one and found there is no mention of how to make the link show as "My Gallery"

A real life example:

To make it display here in the raw I've changed the square brackets that you'll see and you need to regular brackets. That is [ to ( and the ] to ).

If you will go to what is currently page 17 (click "more" at bottom of page and then scroll to the bottom and click until you reach page 17) you will find posts from 6/29/06. Look for "What Happened to my signature". Click on it, then go back to page 1 and look at Post #6. It includes an example that shows the proper code string and format to set the address as well as the name, My Gallery. I even set mine to take the color, yellow.
It may take a few tries, but it can be done.

Exactly, try it out. You are not going to break anything.

Edit your signature then come back to the posts and see if you've done it right. You can always go back and change it again. And again.

Good news is that it's retrospective, so all your old posts take on your new signature.

I took Jon's trick to show how to do colour:

Just change { back to [ and of course copy your own gallery URL .
There are some buttons over the box that will do the [....] parts for you.
