I have a couple of Yashica TL Electro-X cameras. They use the PX-28 silver oxide battery which is difficult to find locally but the PX-28A is easily found. However because of the steep voltage curve/drop with alkaline batteries I don't like to use them.

The PX-28L lithium battery is fairly common in stores so I was wondering how this battery compares to the silver oxide battery. How is its voltage curve/drop compared to the silver oxide battery??

Discharge curve is not as flat as a mercury or silver-oxide but if Electro SLRs are anything like Electro rangefinders, circuitry wise, then li-on battery should be OK. How about stacking together 4 SR44 cells, are these available locally? In this case you'll need to make improvised adapter.

I am currently stacking 4 silver oxide 357 cells but the single Lithium is cheaper than buying the 3 cell packs or single cell pack.

I am pretty sure the voltage curve for lithiums is quite similar to that of silver oxide. I know I've seen a graph showing this but can't recall where.

I too have seen a graph but after googling for 2 hours I haven't been able to find one..
