I had more of a problem with the protestors using copyrighted images of Bush and Cheney on their posters than I did with the swastika in the Bush name.

I've not seen said photos, however, the official portraits and nearly all photography done by the U.S. government and military is public domain and not subject to copyright.

Looking at Neil's photo again, yes, the Bush portrait looks like an official portrait. Cheney and Rumsfield's... not sure.
