Hi! New guy here...just purchased a 1948 11c (serial 445xxx). It appears to have been converted...Now has 1000 top speed, black numbers on a ring under the shutter speed dial (held in with screws). Has the flash port installed next to the viewfinder and the accessory shoe held in with two screws, not 4. Still has no slow speed dial.
I have only located one other photo of the converted 11c's, on those photos the conversion seemed to have been done without the synchro ring screwed into the top of the housing....wondering what the difference is.
Also, what would this "converted" camera be considered? A llF or a lllF?
Thanks!
Mark
