This Sunday, north of Toronto, at the Thornhill Community Center, 10am to 3pm. I'm hoping to get lucky there, and find an M3. (You can tell I'm at a certain age when "getting lucky" means finding a clean M3.)

There are currently a few M3's available on the internet, but I'm going to wait until Sunday where I can actually handle the cameras before I decide to buy.

Is anyone else from the Toronto area planning to attend?

Is there's an entrance fee?

ps. maybe we should use the "Rangefinderforum.com > Miscellaneous Topics and more > Regional Clubs by Geographic area > Canada Toronto area club " more for this kind of stuff. Otherwise that one looks rather barren.... I've made the only post there so far :(

Entrance fee is $7, $5 with coupon from the newspaper.
Sorry if I posted this in the wrong forum.

Hi Frank,

I plan to be there. Do you remember our "Secret Handshake" from the last show?

Kim Lau,

Addmission is $5.00 with the ad from The Toronto Star.

Regards,

Bill K.

Hey Frank,

No apologies needed... I just thought that the "Toronto Group" forum looked rather deserted, and could use some activity. That way, it'll be fairly easy to look for special events and such for the GTA.

Well, I may just take a ride up from Rochester. Why not?!!

Can anyone post or pm me with the exact address so I can mapquest some directions? Thanks.

If you guys find any nice Canon 50/1.5 lenses negotiate a good price for me and send me the name and address of the dealer :).

There is a camera show down my way in a couple weeks. The last one I went to was a bit of a bust, but one never knows what can be found on those tables of unorganzed stuff.

Sorry Ralph, a Canon 50mm f1.5 is on my wish list too.

Thomas, the Thornhill Community Centre is on the NE corner of Bayview Av. and John St. I'd be cool for you to drive up!

Okay! How much would you be willing to pay for one in say, very good condition with possibly a few small marks in the lens coating? (I'm guessing as to the most likely condition one would be in.)

I will check the weather and see how it looks. I have been wanting to visit Toronto since I moved up here in December but haven't got the chance. It could make for an interesting day trip!

rover is out to own one of every version of every 50mm lens ever produced!

therefore...i must own one of every 35mm...

Just looking for opportunities without a plan in mind.

Where/when is this camera show? I am from CT also, though I go to college up near Albany, NY. I am home on 'spring break' in the snow, and will be back again for Easter. Hopefully I will be in-state during the camera show....

So that explains Russ's recent absenteeism - he's tied up!

Nwcanonman, did you mean "pretty young..." or "pretty, young..."
