I came across a lovely Olympus 35 RC that has lots of potential, I think and gives new meaning to "in working condition":

(Item # is 7537566738)

"An Olympus 35RC Vintage camera around 1970 in working condition. Lens is broken, however but otherwise condition is good. A nice little collectible "

If you look at the accompanying photo, sure enough, the lens is "broken". No front element.

Ebay Translation Dictionary
New - New to you if you buy it
Like New - Light Grinding Marks
New in Box - Run over by freight train, the box is new however
VGC - Run over by freight train. We think we got all the pieces
Light Haze - riddled with fungus
Few Specks on Lens - I knew I shouldn't have tried to photograph that sand blaster with the wide angle lens
Light Cleaning Marks - Former owner SS# engraved in the front lens element
Lightly Used - How you'll feel if you manage to get most of your money back out of some other poor sucker.

Another thing I just love - it was annoying with music gear etc... but buying cameras there is no excuse... Out of focus blurry fuzzy shots of photographic equipment. I've never seen any that looked like they'd run the Photoshop Oil Painting or Cubism filters on, but I've seen many that you might could tell more if they HAD run artistic filters on a good photo to start with.

I think I know the one you're referring to if it's current...

Her boyfriend sure left a whole bunch of identical make and model cameras didn't he? Don't know nothing about photography, but has a ton of medium format stuff with an email address ending 67. Private feedback of 85%.
