I use a LCA now & then (not purchased from the Lomonoids I hasten to add) - it's a camera I really like, but I agree with the previous posts re the Lomography marketing - it is thoroughly nauseating. It reminds me of those adverts for a well known brand of tortilla chips - all these beautiful people (friendchips) having such a party...
Good little camera though - I think of cameras as individual machines with specific properties that have to be worked to get results. I use a lot of super / standard / single 8 cameras and they all need different techniques and give different results (latest acquisition a Quarz double super 8 commiecam..).
Having said that, when people ask me whether they should buy a LCA I usually tell them to buy an XA - contemporary with the LCA, vastly superior, and film can be cross processed whatever camera you use...
And how about the Cosina CX1/2, which now I suppose can claim a (tenuous) link to voigtlander...
