Lomography Colour 400 asa 120 and 200 asa Tiger 110 films.

On the other hand, if total annual conventional film sales is only 30 million rolls, then that's pretty depressing. That's not even 3 million film photographers worldwide, I'd say. Probably half that.

Probably the number of 1 to 1.5 million regular standard (non instant) film users globally is realistic.
But I am optimistic that this number can increase significantly in the coming years.
Look at the boom in instant photography, or the very strong revival with vinyl records. Even Sony - the first who switched from vinyl to CD in the 80ies - is now building up a new factory for vinyl records!

I've just checked the Lomography shop again and they do now have Tiger 200 both in "3x" and single listed, as well as the Orca 100 singles and the silly 'Lobster redscale' 200 singles listed. Yay! They also have the 120 400 asa colour film listed. yay again.

Is it just me, or is Lomo 400 120 marginally wide for 120 spools? I've put it into a Welta Perle 6x9, a Welta Weltax, an Ensign Selfix 16-20, a Gevaert Gevabox and a Ferrania Elioflex and it always seems to 'not quite fit' by a tiny amount. I am aware that you have to be careful when you wind it onto the spool and I've been extra-careful with the Weltax and 16-20 which I loaded earlier.

I'd also like to ask if there's a way of stopping the film from slipping out of the slot on the take-up spool when starting to wind on?

Any help would be much appreciated.

I can load one into a Fuji GS645 with no issue but it won't fit in a GF670 (loads but the push pin won't lock). Careful comparison to a Kodak roll shows the spool being "taller" than normal.

Really? So it ain't just me. I'm beginning to wonder how 'creased' the photos will be from all of my 120 cameras. At least not all of the problems with any 120 photos I produce will be entirely my fault, so that's good.:p

I have also had problems with Lomography's 120 films. AFAIK their films are converted (cut and spooled) in China. The converting quality is not on the quality level of Fujifilm, Ilford, Kodak or Adox.
After having problems several times, I've stopped using them.
Cheap is becoming too expensive if there is a lack of quality. The price performance ratio then is too bad.

I'm beginning to think that if the Lomo spools are a tidgy bit bigger than 'normal' ones, it could explain why the film keeps coming out of the slot of the take up spool when I'm loading a camera, as the turning of the take up spool may not have the 'force' needed to turn the lomo film spool easily enough.

After what you've posted Laterna Magica, I've decided to see the results of the 5 lomo 120 films I've got loaded already to decide whether to continue with them.

In case I decide to stop using Lomo film, I was wondering if anyone has any opinions on what the most 'neutral' colour print films are?

Any help would be much appreciated.
