I was thinking of starting a group through Meetup.com and was wondering how many people might be interested... there's a small group of us over at DPReview who seem to like the idea... so I though I'd put feelers here too!

Would primarily be for Long Islanders... but all in NY are welcome!

I might be if I can get there fairly easily from Brooklyn. Geologically speaking, Brooklyn and Queens are on Long Island, so we could meet there too!

While I've got all you locals here, I'm getting into film and find myself liking slide film, can you recommend any local E-6 labs, preferably dip/dunk.

Neptune Photo in Garden City has always done an excellent job with my E6. Never a problem.
