Look at this for Neopan 400.......

For those worried about the delay or possible damage to their order: All is well. I talked to the internet sales rep yesterday (Friday 9/2). It was their first day open for business since the hurricane. She said that the store and warehouse are on high ground and did not flood, however, everything around them was flooded, so they stayed closed up for the week. They started shipping again yesterday and my order from 8/26 had been dispatched on 9/2. I should have it early in the week.

My 100 rolls of LP400 (neopan) is in the customs (probably the last ones), is SO EXTREMELY sorry that the best 400 bw film is gone and nothing to replace it with... Please You People at Fuji, dont kill it, at least sell it to someone else with all the information to produce it.

I still haven't seen any confirmed news that Neopan 400 is discontinued by Fuji in 135. Who is spreading this FUD?

By the way, if you are not comfortable with the outrageous shipping by Unique Photo to match with the cheap price of $2/roll, you can consider picking some up for $3/roll from Amazon with Free Super Save shipping above $25 (assuming you are within the US). I did stock up.

Well, its the info gotten from dealers here at home (no, i am not from US) and from other dealers in Europe who is finishing of their supplies and they are not getting any more from Japan, so i see there is some issue with this?
Probably in the us you have got stores full of this and you have supply for now, FreestylePhoto is selling out on LP and finishing their supplies. If shipping is more than 200% of the value, is it worth it, not to me, as i still have to pay duty and tax for it (value+shipping) at the customs.
I read that Fujis business in films is less than 3% and thus therefore expanding to cosmetics etc and probably shutting down the film business from their side. Seems like even the consumer Superia 100-200-400 is hard to get and being sold out on most places.
Final words: If the stores cant get (not possible to order) the films from Fujifilm, what does this indicate on?

Fomapan sucks.

Just an update- I ordered 50 rolls of this film thanks to this thread, and it arrived today. (I live in the midwest US...) The film is packed in plastic snap cans in plain white boxes of twenty rolls each. Printed out stickers on each can identify the expiration as July, 2012. I'll shoot a roll and check the results and post if there's anything weird to report, but I doubt there will be. Anyway, the rest is already in my freezer.

Mine arrived today as well, just as described by Drew above. I would add to the description that the cassettes are the regular Neopan cassettes with all the usual markings that you would expect to see on a roll purchased in a retail box.

I am very happy with this deal, thanks again whitecat!!!

I do not think it's a good idea to stock a lot of film from a company that is discontinuing it. Neopan 400 was my favourite film in 35mm but i move on to Hp5, Trix or whatver........ Better to support those still committing to film!!
Just a thought!

Fercryinoutloud, folks, other than Jani's anecdotal story, there's no indication that Fuji is discontinuing Neopan 400.

If you like it, buy it. If you buy it, shoot it.

Ahhh.. let's see. I like the film. I can buy the film. I have 300+ rolls in my freezer. I will stop buying when I can no longer purchase the film. I want Fuji to continue to make film, so I am in favor of them narrowing the range of products available to keep this small part of their business viable. I believe that they are in for the long run. I also buy a good bit of Kodak product.

I live in Canada - their price for shipping 40 rolls was about $28. Not great but not bad...thanks again for posting this link, that is a terrific deal on a superior film.
