A Leica enlarger, Paterson tanks and a Gralab timer - what else do you need? "Wet printing" is one of the most zen-like things I know off. Time goes by and you really stay focussed (sorry about the pun). Your "judgement" of a print is different from seeing it on a screen - tonality, blacks etc look better.
It is also very "educational" - you quickly learn what works and what doesn't - and it will teach you more about pictures than anything else.
You ned a good music system too - nothing like having some jazz or classical music going when printing.
As for "multi-tasking" - yes the perpetual sound of running water will induce that!
