Very nice photo, Colyn. Next time, could you please include your feet? 🙂

I am enamored with my Canon P and CV 25 combination. Not late yet, I assume, to send Santa Claus, my want and need for a CV 15.🙂

Happy holidays to all!

Nice photo.

What is the vignetting like on most of the photos? I am considering this lens.

I have an m42 180* full frame SMC Tak fisheye 17/4 lens. It is hard not to include your shadow or feet. I have to lean forward to keep my feet out of the image. Keeping both the sun and your shadow out of the frame at the same time is a major undertaking! 🙂

Thanks

As far as vignetting? I would have to say barely noticeable. Even edge sharpness is better than I expected.

I would lean slightly forward to keep my feet out of the frame but only very little.

It would seem that both the 15mm and 21mm wide from Voigtlander seem to exhibit less distortion and less vignetting than one would expect from them.

I currently have the 21/4 Color Skopar, when I was trying to decide between the two, and hope to get the 15/4.5 in the near future.

With my own experience with the 21/4 and what I've been reading from people who have the 15mm, there is no reason to think you cannot have a high quality ultra wide for an inexpensive price.

Oh if you thru your feet in the shot, find a location where having the bottom smaller than the top would seem funky 😀.

God must have made me for this lens. I have small feet, especially for a 6'frame. and I walk with my feet at a slight angle. People have asked me "whats wrong with your feet" Now I know why!😀 Colyn on a serious note, That photo is wonderful. I love the blue skys and the golden browns, What film were you using. I just loaded a new roll of Kodak Hi Def. 400 in my Bessa L 25/4 snapshot skopar to try out the next few days that I'm off. Enjoy your new P.

Happy Holidays

Greg
