CONTAX I (e)
This is the most methodical camera i've ever used.
1) Erect lens. Lock in place.
2) Set aperture.
3) Turn speed selector anti-clockwise to required speed groups.
4) Raise advance knob and align the correct colour dot to the coloured speed group.
5) Turn advance knob clockwise with care.
6) Disengage focus lock.
7) Focus lens with rangefinder...
8) ..frame...
9) ...and release shutter. Press firmly for fast speeds and softly for slow.
Once finished...
10) Collapse lens.
11) Set shutter range till you reach range 'B' - 1/2.
12) Raise advance knob and set red dot to 'B'
13) Flip camera shoe on the bottom for sturdy storage...
14) ...in a humid free environment...
15) ...and hope it works fine the next time it gets use.

I have two out of the three in this pic, the Fuji is a truly spectacular little camera, I'm bowled over by it.
I picked up a T4 for a ridiculous price the other day, I'm looking forward to seeing what it has to offer

.... about 5 different VFs in the 21/24/25/28mm range ... have to try them all out and return the ones that dont work for me ... and I will then picture and post a comparison on RFF.

It took a little yelling at UPS after they failed to hold it at the location as they were supposed to, some driving and wasted time, but I am now sporting my new-to-me Bessa R4A.
This thing is pretty. I can't wait to run some film through it.

Wee, another camera, and my first real Leica!
Oh, and the Bessa above has had 12 rolls of film run through it since I got it 5 days ago.

Wow, this Perkeo is stunning!
Wow, this Perkeo is stunning!
Sorry, no photos just yet, but my 1953 Voigtlander "Perkeo 1" folder finally arrived in the mail! I am ecstatic that this lovely camera is actually every bit as pristine as had been advertised. It truly appears as though it is brand new. It's astonishingly compact for a medium format camera!
I have just scored a mint 1930's Hugo Meyer pocket range finder (still in its original box, with included instruction manual and warranty registration) to mount on the Perkeo, to avoid the guesswork of focal distance. And I bought an immaculate Voigtlander yellow filter and lens hood, so now I'm all set to try out this beauty. Will post photos of this museum-quality camera soon!

My new-to-me Nikon FM. Typical KEH deal. Better than expected condition and works like new.

The best camera is one that still works!

How's the viewfinder? Mine is pretty dirty. I keep meaning to work out how to clean it, but the FM focus screen isn't removable. Nevertheless, I really enjoy using it.

Today a Jupiter 12 arrived in near perfect condition from Yuri over at Fedka.com which is situated on my M3.
In addition, I finally got my Yashica D from Pakistan. I can't even being to comment on that, but besides being in pretty beat up condition, it functions absolutely perfectly. So no real complaints there. Put a roll of Portra 160 in it and I can't wait to get it developed!
