Look what came in the mail

Three filters for my 50mm f/2 DR and 35mm Summaron f/2.8 : a UVa, a light yellow and a yellow-green -- all in great shape (2 Leitz and 1 B+W) from KEH.

Yashica CC is a great camera, though I prefer the Konica Auto S3 (higher shutter speeds - 1/650, can be set to ISO 800, even more compact, neat flash system) and have been tempted to sell the CC but can't seem to bring myself to do it... That said, the CC is a great little street shooter with a terrific lens. Enjoy.

I'm waiting for an Iskra to come back from Oleq. Will post when she comes home from her pilgrimage to her "home".

The Most beautiful Nikkor 5cm F2 in LTM just came in. Very late lens, noted by a black aperture ring.

Waiting on Five Menopta lenses and a Black J-8 in LTM. I'm going to collimate the Menopta's for the Nikon RF and the J-8 for Leica.

Gotta say it.

The Menopta is a Planar Jane. Or is it Planar as the Nose on your Faceplate?

the post person was nice enough to bring me a Yashica CC today.
It breaks my heart to see it. I miss mine!! (it got stolen)

Doesn't happen to have a tiny scratch under the front vf window, does it? :(

That smasher of a 111c arrived from Ash today, plus the most excellent late addition namely a pristine Canon 50/1.8!!
Who says Mondays are a drag,:)

Just got a Black 1970 J9 LTM today. The Description was over exaggerated too. It claimed to a a some haze near the rear element. It does, but only a few mm's at the edges.. The glass is real clean other than that. Got it CHEEEEEEAPPPPPP too!! ($20.00) from a good used camera store in my state. Hay, even had a black hood for the 85mm....Extra surprise.

Had a few frames left in my Bessa R2, so I took a few close distance and far distance frames as an UNOfficial test drive I am going to get it CLA by Fedka Anyway for $45.00. But I believe it is totally usable until then.

Now. where is that Like New Black J8 ???

Got my 90 screwmount Elmar in the mail today. It's tiny! I was expecting it to be bigger since it's a 90, but I guess not. The Summicron is probably the size I was thinking of.

I don't have a digital camera to take pictures of it, and the batteries in my Canon are dead so those will have to wait - should have pictures from it soon though.

Received my black w/ tan trim Billingham Hadley Pro bag from Merkle Camera in Toronto. First impression; just beautiful, no other way to describe it. A little smaller than anticipated, but still useable as a brief (it's the only Hadley with a handle as well as a shoulder strap). Well padded with a removeable full-size insert and 2 large+2 small adjustable dividers. Realistically it'll carry 1 or 2 M's, couple of lenses and a flash, big expandable front pockets for film and gadgets.
At $225US ($265CDN) overpriced as hell, but as usual with Billingham you get what you paid for, impeccable workmanship and it looks like it'll last forever. B&H has the complete line on their website, but be forewarned, can cause severe gastroenteritis.

With more than 20+ film cameras at home, I'm more in a Terminal state...:bang:

This is a serious situation. You obviously do not know how to store them so your wife loses count. The RFF/GAS therapy group meets here every evening.

Cv 25/4

Cv 25/4

My CV 25/4 arrived yesterday. It's mounted up and ready to go out for a test drive --- as soon as the temperature rises to 0 degrees F!

I just got my side grip from Cameraquest.
Really seems to help with gripping the camera.
Im going to take it out this weekend to try out.

I received a wonderful Contax-IIIA this morning from fellow RFF member David Murphy. The camera was loaded with film, tested, and I'm still amazed at the outstanding sharpness of the photos taken with it and my Jupiter-3. Most of the photos were taken using the Contax-IIIA lightmeter. I'll upload some photos soon :)
