I suppose this could be the Princelle's of Chinese cameras: "Cameras of the People's Republic of China" by Douglas St. Denny.

Looks to be a neat little book detailing Chinese cameras from the various makers in the PRC. It has a chapter devoted to each factory and a chapter to each maker. Each camera has it's own page with various stats concerning its manufacture, lens type, film type, etc. All for $6!

Believe it or not, the store had two copies. I'd be happy to go get the second if anyone is interested.

BTW, I simply MUST have the TLR in the second picture, if nothing else than for the conversations it'll start. 😀

OK!! 😀 I'll take the second copy if it's still available. Send me a PM. I'll paypal the $$ to you ASAP.

Thanks!

that is a neat book. I bought a copy just a few years ago. I like the write up on page 75 about the Shanghai 58-1 Leica copy and the legendary Red Flag 20, on page 93

I wonder if Zhao Zhenxin's book(see thread #16) was ever published, and maybe there is an english edition. Zhao seems to be like many of us on here on RFF, who visit the 35mm classifieds and Eb*y a little too often.
