Look what I just won!

Hi.

Just picked up the film I shot with this Zorki from the lab. It was Fomapan 100 and looks pretty good - i.e. no light leaks and no shutter capping. Even at 1/500 the exposure is even... I guess the speeds are a bit slower than they should be (all frames are slightly overexposed), but at least it's very quiet. 😎

Only problem is, that all frames are a little low and extend to the sprocket holes...

I used it with the original Industar-22 and with Jupiter-8. I'll post some examples when i scan the film...

Hi all,

I posted some photos from the first roll through the Zorki 1 in my blog HERE

Here's one example - more in my blog...

Hey Ondrej,
What a find! And, I can't believe the cleanup job you did.

I'm going 'backwards in time' with a Fed-2 which should be here any
day now. It is from Fedka; however, should it need CLA... do you work
on other people's cameras?

In any event, good luck with your Zorki; great price.
Cheers,
mike

That's an interesting shot, Ondrej... the couple next to all that underwear. Is that a street market?

As for the exposure... you can always underdo it a tiny bit. Now you know how to handle it. Congratulations again! 🙂
