looking for a cheap 90

I just checked his site and he has a 90 elmar LTM for $90 and another for $125. I've bought a number of items from him and had great service.

Hi Joe, how about a 90/4 elmar, black, uncoated, 1937 vintage?

Wait a minute and I'll organise a pic.

Here you go - you'd need an LTM-M adapter; can anyone help with one of those?

Hey, no worries. I'm a little cranky myself, and sometimes not very cognizant of how I come off.

LTM = ? Is that "thread mount," as in screw mount, or a bayonet mount? Sorry for my ignorance. I'm looking (ideally) for something mid-1960s that'll fit my M3, but honestly, my total lack of disposable income at the moment might be a problem if I want something in decent shape.

In other news, the M3 just went off for a CLA today, so I'm going through withdrawal, which may also explain my snippiness.

Mea culpa, M

there is a newly listed 90 elmar from 1955 on the bay. it still has a long time to go but it would mate wonderfully with the '55 m3 and '55 summicron 50/2 collapsible.

too good to be true.

someone has offered me an 85/2 canon also. i love that lens and am sorely tempted.
and the zi has 85 fl to boot.

must think...

that's cool, i like cranky women!
it sure has been a lousy week though and to top it all off the 20 something young girl that i work with passed out today at work and was carted off to the hospital. she was recently diognosed with some sort of heart valve problem.
really bad memories...

so, no harm-no foul.

He took down pic as soon as i commited to buy.
Great to deal with.

I will post pic of lens and photos taken with it tomorrow pm.

i think i've ever seen a lens on his site for that cheap.

i'll look again. thanks

joe, I've noticed of late that either he's falling into line with the market or, worse, the market is coming into line with him. I've been looking for a Canon 35/2.8 for awhile and right now his are the most reasonable. Yes, I know. It's still true... Now I do understand that I may well be looking in the wrong places - but right now, from what I have seen, his aren't OTT like they used to be, but are still slightly high but within reason. At least for Canon. I don't follow his prices for other things.

If so, that would be seriously cool. Thank you, sir.
