Hi All
a while ago, I bought a nice skopar with hood (LH-4).
The hood was extremely stiff on th e lens, and after triying a few things I screw it up, and now the hood is completely loose on the lens, having lost the small bump it relies on for locking.
I tried a few remedies based on friction, lacquer, epoxy, but the only result was to break the small rod inside the lens that conects between the optical block and the focus mount:bang:
So now, waiting to repair the lens, I would also like to replace the mounting ring of the LH-4.
If you have a smashed LH4 hood, but with a good mounting ring, please...let me know..
