Looking for Graflok 4 x 5 back OR 5x7>4x5 reducing back

I'm trying to reclaim a 5 x 7 Premo, and I would like find / make a reducing back to use standard 4x5 "riteway" holders.

One path is to mount the complete Graflok back from a press camera on a wooden board. A regular Graphic spring-back would also suffice.

Anybody got any complete Graphic 4x5 backs they'd care to part with ?


I 'd be happy with a "factory" 5x7 to 4x5 reducing back too...


Anybody need to unload some parts ?

Hi Frank,

LFF forum or apug.org might be a better bet on the part you need.
I solved my problem by making a DIY reducing back - only I already had an extra back in the size I needed. I made a reducing back from "full-plate" to standard 5x7 back on my full plate camera (search for "full-plate Chinese" on apug, there are some photos, too).

Agreed. The Large Format Forum and a Want to Buy ad might work.

Maybe you can find a beater Graphic press camera for the right price. If the back is good & rest is shot you're home free.
