looking for lens cap

Hey folks,

By chance would anyone have a spare 40.5mm lens cap they don't need? I can't seem to find any around town.

(I tried posting this to the Classifieds section, but there's no New Thread button...which, given my scrambled brain, isn't necessarily a bad thing)

Bound to be some there. Quite some time back somebody mentioned using prescriptin bottle caps. That is a little small, but you might find something. Say, aren't the clear plastic Kodak and/or Fuji film canister caps about that size?
 
canister caps sound abit small doesnt it? i got a nice centre pinch cap here in shanghai for less than 1USD so im happy :D too bad my friends dont like photography. i could save them a bundle by brining back cheap accessories and film.

there are nice metal LTM body caps, front/rear lens caps here here as well, cable release...........the list goes on.

40.5 is a thread mounted cap right? Those are easy enough to find. But im hving trouble finding the right push on cap for an industar 22. Is that the push on cap you are talking about?

Summitar caps are also a weird size. i want to get some before i go back to australia. anyone know what diameter cap the summitar 50 F2 uses?
 
I'll try and post a pic later on tonight. But it's the push on plastic type. It's the one you'll most likely get if you bought a "Industar 61 with front lens cap". I dunno if it'll fit an Industar 22 though.
