Hey All,
I posted a 'want to buy' but sometimes that's the place where ads go to die.
Looking for a black classic rappy to mount on a 6.
Tom advised that there is a waitlist and a decent period of time before the batch will be ready... so I gotta go to the 2nd hand market to find a unit.
Anyone know of one floating around? Anyone got one stuffed in the back of a cupboard that needs a new home? Not worried about scratches, dings, dents and the like - if it works then we're golden!
I haven't seen one in the classifieds for a while and there's only one on eb@y (attached to an MP...no thanks).

Keep an eye on eBay. I found mine there not terribly long ago, and there were a couple others available from different sellers at the same time. I don't believe there are any at the moment that aren't stuck on the bottom of cameras for sale, but I know they pop up.

Why not buy one directly from Tom? I'm sure he would be happy to help- and he and his wife are such a pleasure to deal with, it's hard to say no. Check out http://rapidwinder.com

As I said in the original post: there is a waiting list for them new from Tom.... and the expected date for delivery is sometime next year...
My first call was to him for a new rappy... and now I'm searching for a used one (actually on his advice...)...

I've spoken to them via email: it's an option... though their postage rates are VERY high and they only deal with international customers via bank transfer... a little bit of a dissinsentive...
