One thing about the Summitar is if you want to use filters, they have a proprietary thread mount used only on that lens. But you can get an adapter to use E39 filters. Then use a 39mm hood of your choosing.

Correction: The Summarit 50/1.5 Collapsible also uses the same conical style filters. When the Summicron replaced the Summitar (in 1953) Leica switched to a more standard filter mount of E39 (39mm). Since this size is also used on the 35mm Summaron, Elmar (second version) and Tele-Elmarit versions of the 90mm, and the Tele-Elmar 135mm f4 you only need one set of filters then for a whole kit full of lenses.
