Sorry in advance if these are stupid questions.
1) I recently noticed that the film door on my M6 is a little loose. When I pick up the camera, the upper right side of the door gives a little "pop" and flexes a bit. The slack then minimizes and sort of evens out along the top. The entire film door has a bit of play but the bottom is always rock solid. This is something that happened recently but won't know if it's causing light leaks until I get some rolls back from the lab next week. Is a small amount of play normal? The popping sound drives me nuts but not enough to get it CLA'd (unless light leaks turn out to be an issue.)
2) I have no issues lining up the RF with my Summicron, but have always wondered if the rangefinder should be split up when looking through the VF without a lens attached. Everything at ~8ft is lined up and begins to split once moving in either direction. Should the RF be lined up always, or is this normal?
