My lens cap is quite loose on my 6X7 and before I attempt to fix...I was wondering if any members have suggestions as to what to use and how I to make the cap fit tighter without damaging the hood.
Thanks in advance...

If it is an external fitting cap (not threaded or spring-loaded) I use Dr. Scholes "Moleskin" a self-adhesive tan colored felt. Cut it into the appropriate width and stick it inside of the rim of the lens cap. If it comes off later, glue it in!
The one on my Summitar has been in place since 1976!

Thanks...I'll try that. I remember that that stuff is quite thin and would probably work well.
