Lost spring on Kiev bayonet

Too small for the classifieds I guess, therefore I put the question here:

I am looking for the spring (with the two screws) for the bayonet of the Kiev.
(perhaps someone has a parts camera with the spring still on it; maybe contax will also do)

The latch/spring received afterall (I guess I was too impatient). So now I can go on with restoring an old Kiev.

(btw is there a list of serialnumbers of these Kiev's so to ascertain the year of production?)

first two numbers of the serial number indicates the year. ie: a ser. # of 8243011 indicates camera was made in 1982.

That would be typical, in that case I have quite different bodies, one produced in 1974 and one in 1975 whereas the first one seems to be a Kiev II and the other the 4a (at least the ones without lightmeters). The II is much more refined with fine engravings and at some places smaller screws.
 
A 1974 Kiev cannot be a Kiev II. Kiev II cameras were made back in the 1950's. That said you can have a 1974 Kiev 4A with Kiev II parts in it (and the reverse). Glad to know that you received your parts safe and sound.
 
the Kiev II is closest to the original Contax II.
the Kiev II was made till 1955/56 then the IIa took over.
the IIa was a less refined II with flash sync.
from 1958 till 1972 the 4a type 1 was in production.

in 1973 to 1980 the 4a type 2 was produced, recognized by the plastic tipped selftimer lever.
from 1980 to the mid 80s the black dial Kiev 4AM was the main meterless model made.

So from outward appearance it seems that I have a Kiev II (first export model) and a 4a type 2.

yep, up to and including the year 1972, the Kiev 4 and 4a had an all metal self timer lever and the body covering was real leather.
these are known now as type 1.

the foot was gone too, as Kiev was now copying some of the styling of the post war Contax IIa and IIIa.
you can see this copying on the meter of the Kiev 4 and its rewind knob and the styling of the ever-ready case for the 4 and 4a.

Thanks, well if I look at my "Kiev II", it has the old tripod socket, and everything else seems old too, with the exeption of the serial....the rewindknob and shutterknob however are the same as on my 4a
