Hello everybody,

I'm out in Bangkok now shooting and I just noticed that that small rubber piece under the winder on my m6ttl is gone. Does anybody know if light can get in. Sorry but I dont know the name of it, but it's behind my shutter dial on the top plat.

Cheers, michael

Michael, that's the hole that allows easy access to the screw for adjusting the 1/1000 shutter speed. The black rubber plug that fits in there has gone missing. I doubt light would go in through the hole and then find its way to your film, but dirt might get inside the camera and that's never a good thing. Best to cover up the hole with a piece of black tape until you get get a replacement.

Thanks a lot Jon, I really appreciate that reply. I'm on my way now to a store to buy some black tape. Thanks again Jon.

Cheers, michael
